The CC series is a traditional American-style elevator bucket with a curved front opening, while the D series uses a flatter front profile. Today, D series buckets are widely used, although many existing elevator systems still use CC series buckets depending on equipment design and replacement requirements.
Nowadays, more and more customers use D elevator bucket. However there are still a few companies that are used to using CC series elevator bucket. For example, GSI company still uses CC series bucket elevator cups buckets, and many companies are following him.
Shape Difference
As mentioned above, the top mouth of CC series is arc-shaped. And the D series elevator cups’ mouth is flat.
Cost Difference
The thickness of CC bucket is thicker, and it is a circular arc mouth with more materials. So compared with the D bucket elevator cup, CC series is more expensive.
Strength Difference
Because the thickness of CC cups is thicker,and the mouth is arc-shaped. The strength of CC is higher than D elevator cups.
